Welcome to Cleveland Dental, located in Cleveland, Tennessee. Here, Dr. Ernest Oyler, Jr. and the rest of our team understand that dental health is not just about a beautiful smile, but also about strong teeth and healthy gums. It’s about enjoying the simple pleasure of eating your favorite foods without worry. Our mission is to serve our community by providing the highest standard of dental care with compassion.

We prioritize patient education and provide comprehensive care in a comfortable and reassuring environment. Recognizing that dental anxiety is common, we’ve designed a soothing atmosphere and a scheduling system to minimize wait times. By blending state-of-the-art technology with traditional techniques, we deliver exceptional care to our patients.

Ernie Oyler, Jr., DDS, MAGD, FACD

Dr. Ernest Oyler, Jr received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1993 from the University of Tennessee Memphis School of Dentistry. He was awarded his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) in 2007.

Dr. Oyler has been very active in the dental community by serving as the President and the Vice President of the Tennessee Academy of General Dentistry. He as also served as the President and Treasurer of the Chattanooga Area Dental Society. He received his Fellowship from the American College of Dentistry in 2012.

Our Dental Hygenists

  • Donnis Wells, RDH

    Donnis joined our team 2005. She graduated from Chattanooga State with her dental Assisting certificate in 1991 and then went on to graduate with her Associates of Applied Science from Chattanooga State in 1996. In her free time Donnis enjoys scrap booking and traveling with her husband Rob and their 2 Children, Emily and Davis. 

  • Amanda Gibson, RDH

    Amanda joined our team in 2011. She graduated with her Associates of Applied Science from Chattanooga State in 2011. In her free time Amanda enjoys going to the beach and being outdoors with her Husband Eric and their children, Haley Davin and Drake.

  • Renee Rymer, RDH

    Renee joined our team in 2019. She graduated with her Associates of Applied Science from Chattanooga State in 2012. In her free time Renee enjoys spending time wit her husband Chuck, and their 2 daughters Allison and Aubrey.

Our Dental Assistants

  • Nicole Whitaker, RDA, Financial Coordinator

    Nicole joined our team in 2012. She graduated from Chattanooga State with her Associates of Applied Science and her Dental Assisting certificate in 2012. In her time off Nicole enjoys painting, shopping, and spending time with her dog Yoshi.

  • Melanie Condra, EFDA

    Melanie joined our team in 2017, and after a brief break, rejoined us in 2021. She started Dental Assisting in Georgia in 1999. She graduated from Meharry Medical College with her Expanded Function Certificate in April 2022. In her time off Melanie enjoys hiking, kayaking, music, and spending time with family and friends.

  • Dianne Bigham, RDA

    Dianne joined our team in 1998. She is a graduate of Cleveland High School. She graduated with her Dental Assisting certificate from Chattanooga State in 2003. In her free time Dianne enjoys playing the saxophone in her church orchestra and community band.

  • Samantha Fernandez, RDA

    Samantha joined our team in 2024. She is a graduate of Penn Foster College where she earned her Dental Assisting license. Samantha’s parents are from Cuba but she was born in Miami, Florida. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family and dog Tiffany.

  • Ashleigh Cooper

    Hygiene Coordinator

    Ashleigh joined our team in 2022. She is new to the Dental profession but with huge ambition to learn job skills that will last a lifetime. She is always ready to greet you with a warm smile and caring heart, that makes her a perfect addition to our team. In her free time, Ashleigh enjoys time with her husband Nate and their new baby, Andy. 

  • Holly Harris

    Patient Coordinator

    Holly joined our team in 2024. She is a Bradley Central High School graduate who began her career at Tennova Hospital and 17 years in the Endoscopy Lab. We are grateful to have her passionate self a part of our Team! In her free time, Holly enjoys shopping, gardening and spending time with her Husband Mike and their children, Gavin and Olivia.
